I’m Steve, a garden designer based in Beckenham, London.

After a decade long career in communications, I decided to follow my lifelong passion for plants and design, and founded Scapesmiths Garden Design to help people create outdoor spaces they truly love.

I hold a degree in biology, trained at the British Institute of Garden Design, and have hands-on experience working at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, home of the Wimbledon Championships.

This mix of science, horticulture, and design helps me craft gardens that are not only beautiful, but also practical and sustainable.
